"OB" refers a former national competitor who experienced a stage of All Japan Figure Skating Championships in any year. OB-shuffled event is a competition of instant couples consisting of a participant and OB partner. A participant doesn't know who would be a partner until the day of event. A practice time for an instant couples is only three-minute warm-up.
